Saturday morning we woke up at the same time we do for school, except we were going on an excursion put on by the university. We walked to campus and got on the bus that was headed to two little towns further into the mountains of Asturias. Pablo and Victor were our leaders for the day, phew. It was a two hour uncomfortable bus ride to Astorga, but I passed out on Sarah and slept for a while. I woke up to the germans singing the tune from the white stripes seven nation arm, I think they must think its still popular or something. We finally arrived in Astorga and were free to walk around for about 2 hours, a group of us walked through the main plaza on our way to the Palace of Gaudi (the same dude who designed the Casa Batllo and Sagrada Familia in Barcelona). We payed to tour around it and looked at the unique architecture of the building for a while.

The Girls in Leon |
Sunday was my first day in Oviedo where we actually got to sleep in, after a wonderful nights sleep (besides the screaming spaniards outside our window at 4 am) we woke up and hung out for a while before we headed to the bus station. Sarah and I got ready for the beach and took the bus to Gijon, the town next to Oviedo, where there are some cute beaches. We went to the fine eatery of Mcdonalds and got Mcpollo's and Mcbeer before our adventure at the beach. We laid on the beach and tanned for a couple hours and took turns splashing in the water before heading back to the bus station and going home to Oviedo.
